I have closed my website due to work commitments and have a shedful of stock to sell.
I am finding it very hard to part with these coasters, but I have to as I have tried to keep everything and now I am in a mess!
They are vintage and either from the 1950s or 60s. Cute wooden holder covered in the same floral paper as the coasters. The coasters are also made from wood and all edges of the set are painted gold to blend in. Just love the pattern. Reminds me so much of Cath Kidston. A sort of a gold colour with white checks all over with blooms of roses in red, white and yellow. Have never seen anything quite like this little holder and coasters before.
Have tried to show you as many pictures as possible. The set is in excellent condition for its age. The brass knobs are tarnised with age, just adding appeal. There are five coasters and there is some scuffing to the back of the coasters, which you cannot see from the front and that is it. The coasters measure 8 1/2 cms square with rounded edges. With the coasters in the holder as shown in the second picture, the measurements are 13 cms and 11 cms across.
With the entertaining season fast approaching, these will really jazz up any party!
