This TV was purchased last week, but to our embarassment it's a fraction too big for our cabinet. Hence it's up for auction: our mistake will be someone's gain. The new price of this set was $2999 but we are starting the auction at just $40; someone is going to get a real bargain!
It's a full High Definition model LC42PD7X, and has the 1920 x 1080 resolution screen, which gives 97% more information than the cheaper 1366 x 768 screens. This is the same as the signal format of HD broadcasting, Blu-ray discs and the latest gaming devices, and is currently the best available.
The buit-in DVB tuner is HD, SD and analogue allowing you to receive all stations, with automatic preset tuning. The digital amplifier has a high audio output of 15 watts per channel feeding 4 speakers, with Dolby Surround. There are several inputs and outputs including HDMI and optical. The dimensions are 1031 x 733 x 292mm including the detachable stand. The set can be wall mounted and is suitable for 110 - 240 volts. Remote control, instructions, warranty and original receipt are included.
