SIDEBOARD ARMOIRE CHINA DISPLAY CABINET CUPBOARD BUFFET

Hi , up for auction is this very nice armoire which my mother had shipped over from germany when she moved to montreal . I dont know too much about the age of this piece but i remember seeing it at my grandparents house in cologne germany when i was a young kid . Sometimes when freinds would visit and comment on it my grandparents would mention how much trouble they had saving it from the bomb raids during the war . I think they moved it to other relatives ( citys ) 3 times before the war was finally over . So i can say for sure that its pre world war 2 . But i think its much older because my grandmother inhereted it from her grandmother so im guessing its somewhere from the late 1800s to early 1900s . If someone can tell me the correct age that would be great . My mother moved to montreal in the late 1980s and brought her whole household over in a large container . I moved back to germany 10 years ago and now that my mother is getting older she will move back to germany so i can take care of her . Because of this situation we decided to sell it because its too big to ship any normal way , and paying for a whole container just to ship one piece of furniture isent worth it . Sorry about the pictures , theyre not too good but if you click on them to enlarge them you can see the details a little better . Whats hard to see is that the middle section ( top and bottom parts ) stick out a little . The base part sticks out about 10 inches . The top part is curved and it has 3 doors in it which are also curved to match the whole radius of that section . Each of the 3 doors have 3 pieces of thick beveled glass in them and they are also lockable ( as are all the other doors and drawers ) . This is a huge piece of furniture so the winning bidder will have to either pick it up in person , or hire a freight / moving company to transport it . Please dont ask me to figure out how much shipping will cost . Its located in montreal ( postal code H2X-2Z3 ) . With this information you should be able to get quotes from freight companys . The armoire can be dissasembled into 6 pieces which are : the base , the crown , the 2 side pieces , the middle bottom and the middle top pieces . Once apart , everything will fit into a regular sized van .

HELLO AGAIN , GOOD NEWS ABOUT THE SHIPPING SITUATION !!!    WE HAVE A FREIND WHO OWNES A LARGE VAN AND HE WOULD BE WILLING TO DELIVER THE ARMOIRE UP TO 1000 MILES FROM MONTREAL FOR $ 0.30 PER MILE .

The measurements are  :   89 inches wide x 87 inches high x 27 inches deep . The side cabinets are about 19.5 inches deep and the middle section sticks out another 7.5 inches so together its 27 inches . Thanks .
