The SIGG bottle lining is a non-toxic coating that is baked into the interior walls and remains flexible and crack resistant for the life of the bottle.  It is taste neutral and resistant to fruit acids and energy drinks, ensuring that your drinks taste like your drinks … every time!

SIGG bottles exceed FDA requirements and have been independently tested to prove 0% leaching of the liner or container.  The proprietary SIGG bottle liner is 100% free of Bisphenol A(BPA), pthlates or any other chemical which has been considered to be potentially harmful.  In other words, SIGGs are 100% safe!

Important user information

·    Before using for the first time, wash the bottle, seal and drinking cap.

·    Suitable for fruit juices and isotonic drinks.

·    When using with carbonated drinks, avoid unnecessary shaking and take care when opening.

·    Caution: alcoholic, fermented or nutrient-rich beverages may cause excessive pressure to build up inside the bottle.

·    Not suitable for long-term storage – consume contents quickly.

·    Fill bottle to no more than 3 cm below the rim.

·    Do not use for non-drinkable substances, e.g. liquid fuels or other flammable, corrosive or chemical substances.

·    Not suitable for the microwave (risk of explosion), for cooking or for deep freezing.

·    Bottle can be placed in the refrigerator.

·    Always check that the drinking cap is firmly in place.

·    Take care when using with hot drinks (risk of burning).

·    Aluminium is 100% recyclable.

Postage & Handling cost

Postage is $5.50 for the first bottle, $2 for the second posting within Australia.  The more you buy, the less p&h you pay for.  Most orders are sent by Australia Post. Express post and registered post are available on request, extra fee is applied.  Please ask before you place your order. 

International buyers are welcome to buy from our store.  Postage to New Zealand is $8 for the first bottle and $3 each extra.  Postage to USA/Canada/Middle East is $10 for the first bottle and $5 for each extra.  Postage to other countries is $11 for the first bottle and $6 for each extra.  Please contact us if you want to make sure.

Packaging

Bottles are wrapped in bubble wraps and boxes.  We recycle all packaging materials that are sent to us.  

 

The timeless SIGG Traveller bottle is a modern classic of design and functionality.  The 400ml petite touch bottles are in 4 colours: Blue Pastel, Yellow Pastel, Pink Pastel and Green Pastel.

Hints: Re-using water bottles

Many people are unaware of poisoning caused by re-using plastc bottles.  Some of you may be in the habit of using and re-using your disposable mineral water bottle, keeping them in your car or at work.  Not a good idea! 

 

In a nutshell, the plastic (called polyethylene terephtalate or PET) used in these bottles contains a potentially carcinogenic element (something called ciethylhydroxy-lamine or DEHA). 

 

The bottles are safe for one-time use only!  Repeated washing and rinsing can cause the plastic to break down and the carcinogens (cancer-causing chemical agents) can leach into the water that YOU are drinking!

 

Better to invest in water bottles that are really meant for multiple uses.  This is not something we should be scrimping on.  Those of you with family - do please advise them, especially CHILDREN.
