This is an auction for a lovely small solid sterling silver serving fork in the Albany pattern. It benefits from having no monogrammes or erasures.

It would be suitable for serving sardines, pickle or could even used as a small bread fork. 

Hallmarks are;

The lion passant to guarantee the sterling silver standard.

The City mark for Birmingham.

The date letter "w" to show that it was assayed in the year 1896.

A maker's mark for the most well respected Levi and Salaman (Phineas Harris Levi and Joseph Wolfe Salaman).

Condition - Good.

Weight - Over 12 grams.

Dimensions - 5 inches long.
