SOG Specialty Knives and Tools, Inc. was named in honor of the Vietnam War's only covert special warfare unit-The Studies and Observation Group. Its existence was once denied by the US Government and it wasn't until long after the war that the SOG Story could even be told.

 Here with No Reserve is a Big Stacked Leather Handle SOG Dagger,, from the Specialty Knives line! This bad boy was made in Seki Japan and is not the newer, cheaper , Chinese made dagger. This one is 11 1/2" long overall with a 6 1/2" blade which is 1" wide. The knife has 1 3/8" long serrations on both sides of the double edge blade as well as a center blood groove. This Beauty is Mint, New Old Stock, Complete with the Box and Sheath. The tang stamp is" SOG SPECIALTY KNIVES " with the obverse stamp " SEKI JAPAN " . I just recently sold the mate to this one and that knife had an electro etch. The stamp on this knife appears to have been hard struck and not an electro etch. View all the pictures and decide for yourself. This is another of the daggers that came in a large dagger collection from Japan. Also, Note the Japanese writing on the box. The number on the end of the box is SOG PD-100LE.
