THIS IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL SOLID SILVER RIMMED AND HEAVY CUT GLASS SALAD BOWL. HALLMARKED FOR BIRMINHAM 1912 WITH A MAKERS MARK OF J G & S. THE HALLMARKS ARE SLIGHTLY RUBBED ON THE SIDE OF THE DATE LETTER IT MAY BE 1912 LETTER N OR 1916 LETTER R. A LOVELY HEAVY QUALITY CUT GLASS BOWL MEASURING 23.5 CM IN DIAMETER AND 9.5 CM IN HEIGHT. THE BOWL WEIGHS ALMOST 1.6 KILOS AND WILL BE EXPENSIVE TO SHIP TO THE USA AND THE REST OF THE WORLD. THE GLASS IS IN AN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO DAMAGE, CRACKS OR CHIPS. THE SILVER RIM IS ALSO IN A VRY GOOD ORDER WITH A COUPLE OF VERY MINOR DINGS.
