This is a beautiful mini Sony PC (8” screen) and is considered state of the art in comparison to other brands.  It is designed for on the go computing namely web browsing or email.  But you can also watch movies (preferably of people with clothes on), use all MS Office applications and what ever else you can think of.  (Note, this model doesn’t have a “coffee cup holder”, actually no mini PC does)

Sony are well known for making quality machines, the original BLING of computers (die in a fire Mac users!) however you and I both know that they are aimed at the “elite” market i.e. people with “deep” pockets.   So here is your chance to take the wind out of any of your apple fan boy mates when you parade this bad boy around.

Crikey, that’s AUD$1,757 worth of goodness (I’m aroused in a geek kinda way!)

So I hear you ask, If this is such a good buy why are you selling it?

Well, truth be known this is a family members machine, bought brand new on the spur of the moment.  It was only used for evaluation approximately 5hrs in a sterile environment and while it is a nice to have, it was not considered essential kit.  Plus it wouldn’t stop a bullet if it was stored in a breast pocket while on ops.

So lets look over this deal.  Unit is essentially brand new with only evaluation usage.  Was purchased in April/May 2009 and is still under warranty.  I believe it has the discounted upgrade to windows 7 but will need to confirm.  Assume for sale that it doesn’t. [UPDATE] - DISCOUNTED WINDOWS 7 UPGRADE DEAL HAS BEEN FOUND AND IS INCLUDED

So sounds too good to be true, well there is one small negative, the awesome noise canceling headphones are not included in the sale as my Sony fan boy family member wants to hang on to them, (will ask if he will include but assume for sale not included).
