About the Item

Up for sale today is a great bike. Although the bike is a 2005 model, it has seen very little use. The ride is great and everything works as expected. There are a few scratches here and there, but nothing you would not expect on a mountain bike that has around 3 months use.

This bike is setup for a very solid yet lightweight ride. It is at home on BMX and 4x tracks, skate parks and the local Dirtjumps. Features include a chainguide to keep the chain on, 9 sram gears, Hyrdo Disc brakes from an industry leader, horizontal dropouts for easy single speed use, and a highly adjustable fork. The fork has adjustable travel from 110 to 150mm travel, as well as air, rebound and bottom out adjustments. The fork is an upgrade from the original non adjustable sherman fork fitted. It has had the seals replaced around a month ago and functions well.

The only mechanical issue I can see on the bike is some minor play in the bottom bracket. It is an ISIS model and easily replaceable. In its current state it still works fine and has many months use left before becoming an issue. Everything else is in good order. The wheels are round and true, tyres and grips are almost new and the brakes and gears are working fine.

Here is an animation showing the adjustable fork travel.
I also forgot to mention that the fork has a 20mm axle.
This makes for a very stiff fork torsionally.
