Story:

Richard Wentworth (Warren Hull) is a well-known criminologist enlisted to help battle The Octopus, a masked mastermind who is out to control the nation's transportation systems with his criminal organization. Unknown to the world at large, Wentworth is also The Spider, a mysterious crime fighter who is often branded a criminal himself. The Spider's Web is one of Columbia's best movie serials and is surprisingly faithful to the character's magazine incarnation.
