RARE VINTAGE SPODE DISH 20.5CM IN LENGTH. I ASSUME IT IS A BUTTER DISH. VERY OLD PATTERN OF THE FLORENCE WITH THE BLUE CENTRE AND BROWN SCROLLS/FLOWERS.

VERY GOOD CONDITION. NO CRACKS, CRAZING OR BREAKAGES OR REPAIRS.

IT DOES HAVE A VERY SMALL IMPERFECTION - APPROX 1CM. THIS SEEMS TO BE AS A RESULT OF THE MANUFACTURE. IT IS NEXT TO ONE OF THE FLOWERS WHERE THE PORCELAIN SEEMED TO BE FINISHED OFF, A VERY SLIGHT AMOUNT IS RAISED.  BUT IS HARDLY NOTICEABLE. AGAIN IT IS NOT A CRACK, BREAK, CHIP OR REPAIR.

ALSO HAS A SMALL COURSE  LINE ALONG THE BOTTOM OF THE BASE WHICH AGAIN WOULD BE A RESULT OF MANUFACTURE, I ASSUME. IT IS NOT A CRACK, BREAK OR REPAIR.  NOR DOES IT WEAKEN IT IN ANY WAY.

MOST OF THE ARTWORK IS IN ORIGINAL CONDITION - ONLY A VERY SMALL AMOUNT SLIGHTLY RUBBED.

FOR ITS AGE IT IS IN EXCEPTIONAL ORDER.
