Wicker like, water hyacinth is a softer and thicker weave.

Natural woven fibres such as water hyacinth, rattan and bamboo have been woven into baskets, hampers, storage baskets, kitchen storage and trays.

The highest quality materials are used to consistently produce superior products, second to none.  Made from environmentally sustainable materials and production methods which are not detrimental to the environment ensuring that the items are all eco-friendly.

The framework is constructed from Rattan a strong yet malleable material which allows for curvaceous designs usually limited by alternative frames. The fibres are treated with a deep permeating seal and once the product has been woven the fibres are applied with an environmentally friendly, non-toxic, water based paint. The final coat is clear matt lacquer which enhances the rich luster and creates a strong seal for the fibre.

Water Hyacinth is a porous fibre and is not suitable for areas of high humidity.

Maintenance & Care

Vacuuming is the best method to keep woven products clean. Occasional spillages should be cleaned immediately with warm soapy water then dried thoroughly. A hair dryer, duster or cloth can also be used to remove surface dust which may accumulate.

Warranty

All the products hold a one year structural warranty. Goods can be replaced should there be a manufacturing fault within the structure of the piece. The fibres do not carry a warranty due to being utilised in many different applications and environments which may not be appropriate. Goods which have been placed in an unsuitable environment or mistreated will not be covered under the warranty.

The natural fibres must be kept in a dry, well ventilated area. They are not weatherproof and cannot be used outdoors.

Please note that the warranty does not apply to items affected by mildew or mould and precautions must be taken for natural fibres kept in humid conditions.

Returns

Claims for missing or damaged goods must be made within 7 days. 

No return stock will be accepted without prior written agreement.

Returns are accepted within 7 days, so long as the goods are in saleable condition, undamaged and in original packaging.

If there is an issue with your purchase, Negative feedback does not resolve issues. Communication does – please allow us up to 48 hours for us to investigate your inquiry.
