When Lois Krescher's STING ART - SYMMOGRAPHY was published, it immediately became enormously popular. Many people began writing to request specific numbered patterns for e color designs she displayed in the book, and thus a new series of String Art Pattern Books was born, of which this is # 1.

This exciting volume contains 8 individual patterns, each consisting of a large overall design with all numbers. Each design includes a full-size pattern showing nail placement, suggested board size, board treatment (ie., paint, stain), and yarn color suggestions. There are complete step-by-step instructions, accompanied by full sets of diagrams, for each project, as well as for the materials needed, preparing the wood, transferring the pattern, and stringing instructions: tying on and tying off yarn, the "edging weave", weaving in ends, and hanging the finished picture.
