  STUBAI TIROL COMBI 12 POINT ICE CLIMBING/MOUNTAINEERING CRAMPONS.COMES WITH ANTI-BALLING (PLATES WORTH $100) .GREAT CONDITION.COST $400NEW!!

These are one of the simplest and best designed multi-purpose crampons around. Aggressive front and 2nd row points make for great technical or ice climbing. Without compromising the functionabilty of your general mountainnering needs such as glacier travel.Perfect for all types of climbing. Great for that first climb in Nepal or Sth America. With the anti-balling plates these crampons retail for around $400. Grab this bargain now without breaking your budget and get these crampons at a fraction of what they cost in the shops.

Comes with anti-balling plates (worth $100) that ensure that you dont get snow accumulating under the crampons. Snow balling under the crampons is the cause of many mountaineering accidents. Once the snow gathers under the crampon the points lose contact with the snow/ice and you lose your grip. With the anti-balling plates this will not happen. Approximate weight with the ant-balling plates is just over 1kg.Making these crampons very light.

As the listing say these crampons have been to the summit of Mt Everest on 18th of May 2006. I bought these crampons a couple of years ago to use in Nepal/Tibet. They have been used on a couple of expeditions. They show the usual signs of wear.Mainly the paint coating on the steel has come of in places. But if you look at the photos i have listed off the crampons you will see that the points are still incredibly sharp and show very little signs of usage. These crampons have many seasons left in them.

The Tirol is a remarkable 12 point tempered spring steel mountaineering crampon with flexible bar. Crooked side points for safe traversing and horizontal front points to reduce the danger of slipping - especially useful on firn snow. The Combi step-in heel clip bindings fits any boot with a rear welt. Ideal for steep snow and mixed terrain. The easy step in design and flexible extension bar make these crampons compatible with all crampon boots. The front plastic "V" strap is made from ultra strong, highly durable, freeze proof plastic. Making sure your boot stays inside and attached to your crampon...all the time. The single strap buckle system is easy to use with gloves/mittens on. The beauty of these crampons is the symplicity of its design. They really are fantastic.

This is a no reserve auction. so highest bidder wins.I am happy to ship worldwide. buyer will have to cover the cost of postage internationally. i charge actual shipping cost. No hidden fees or charges. Some sellers on ebay use this is an excuse to make extra money.Something I really dont like..

I accept paypal but "prefer" direct bank deposit to avoid paypal's fees and charges. Please check my feedback for your own piece of mind. I have lots other climbing gear/clothing up for sale right now so please feel free to check my other items. Local pick- up ok. Combine multiple items for postage fine too.Winning bidder please contact me before final payment.Any questions contact me directly on  03 9897 4777 or email me here.Other than that...happy bidding!!!!
