STUNNING Antique TABLE HEAVILY HAND CARVED circa 1850

This stunning antique table dates from the mid/late 1800s,and I believe is Indian/Asian in its origins.

Made from solid wood, possibly mahogany, or similar hard wood. It is hand carved all over with animals, snakes, dragons and human figures, to top legs and frieze. It has a brass tray top, I am unsure if this table had one originally, but this was with it when I purchased, and fits very well. The solid brass tray is of similar period, with engraved animals, humans and an elephant god seated. The table is pegged construction, and the hand carved decoration is crisp with good detail. It is in very nice original condition, a very heavy substantial sturdy table, and ideal for use or display. It is a large size measuring approximately 34 inches/87cm wide, and stands 23 inches/59 cm I height. Really impressive genuine antique Asian table, which would grace any room setting, a delightful architectural piece, and dream piece for interior decorator.
