STUNNING MINOLTA 7000 & dedicated AF 2800 Program Flash

I bought this wonderful Minolta 7000 and Minolta Program AF2800 Electronic Flash in 2002 - and had little change from $1500. ($2000+ at today’s values). And it is still one of the best engineered and best performing 35mm SLR’s ever made. It is the most expensive photographic item which I ever indulged and I have cared for it like a new born baby. Regardless it has had but light use. The AF2800 dedicated flash - which is the most versatile and technologically superior electronic flash I have ever seen, alone carried a price tag of $328 . Complete with immaculate Minolta 35 to 80mm Autofocus Zoom lens the Camera and the Flash are in near mint condition, functionally flawless and with original mint condition User Manuals for both. The 7000 has every feature for which one could wish including stepless shutter speeds from 1/2000 to 30 secs., Shutter speed Priority, Aperture Priority, Fully Manual, and fully automatic in Program Mode. Motor-drive single or continuous film advance. And of course TTL (off the film) Flash metering in all modes. Oh - and forget outrageously expensive batteries because the 7000 used 4 x AA cells. The capabilities of the Minolta 7000 and AF2800 dedicated Program 2800 Flash, will make you gasp. Professional results with absolutely the simplest to use flash - ever. Mount it on the camera and forget it. No calculations or workarounds needed. Slow-Sync' is also a provided feature and the AF illuminator is automatically triggered for auto-focussing in low light or total darkness. With a Guide Number f 28 (100ASA/metres), this high-power super fast thyristor circuitry recycling can even be used in motor-drive mode with TTL flash. This is as near to the perfect electronic flash which technology can create. Neither the 7000 nor the 2800AF have any dings or damage or defacements. Battery compartments of both are pristine. Just like the day they came off the production-line. The series of Minolta 5000, 7000 and 9000 had heavy rubber handgrip coverings which hardened and cracked. On my (this) 7000, such has been replaced with genuine leather. In that respect the listed 7000 is better than new. The item is listed for Australia only. No international bids accepted.
