Here we have a  beautiful vintage curtain pelmet.. so very French provincial..Shabby chic,has beautiful decorative design.. this piece has been painted or gilded at some stage not sure...which...paint is flaking mainly on the cream back..the gilt is not flaking though has some paint missing here and there,see pics..has been Trimmed with 2 rows of fabric.. this pelmet would be for the person that loves that vintage charm or some one that could bring it back to its former glory.. not for the perfectionist..it looks to have come straight from a very old French chateau. a stunning shell design with exquisite flowers and leaves..the joins in the corner pieces have opened... this gorgeous pelmet would be wonderful for a magazine.. or an interior designer.. or that person that loves beautiful  unique charming vintage pieces..French provincial or shabby chic decor would look stunning with some curtain fabric with the  French Fleur- de-lis emblem...this piece is unique,not likely to be seen again in the near future ..Xmas is just around the corner.. treat your self.
