       This Superb, Authentic, Rare, Early Antique Baluch Pile Rug from Turkestan Displays Stunning Salor Turkoman Main Guls in the Field which is Surrounded by a Extremely Well Balanced Main Border of Perfectly Drawn Geometric Form with a Beautiful Aubergine Ground and All Vegetable Dyes including What appears to be Lac to Create the Intense Red in the Guls and this is Very Rare. It has a Lustrous Hand Spun Wool Pile Symmetrically Hand Knotted to Hand Spun Undyed Wool Warps and Hand Spun Undyed Wool Wefts. This Exceptional Tribal Baluch Pile Rug from Turkestan is 1.87m x 1.08m (6ft 1.5 inches x 3ft 6.5 inches) and in Excellent Condition for its Over 120 Years of Age.

      It has been Hand Washed and is a Must for Any Serious Baluch Collector with some minor signs of Its Advanced Age at the selvedges and warp ends and some very minor Corrosion due to the Vegetable Dyes Used in the Very Small Areas of one of the Darker Colours. See Photos.
