Rarely will you find a sideboard of this quality on Ebay or indeed anywhere as they are not often offered for sale and are normally handed down from generation to generation.... This superb antique burr walnut and Pollard oak sideboard was crafted in England circa 1890 in the latter part of Queen Victoria's reign... It is just a superb piece of craftmanship that has survived in original condition for over 100 years and is now even more handsome having developed a magnificent patina which is essential when assessing  high quality antiques.. From the beautifully hand carved pediment down to the eight supporting bun feet this piece exudes a style and quality that even my pictures have not been able to capture properly.. The original hardware including locks are still in place and the drawers and doors all work as well as the day this piece was finished..  The sideboard is located at Moorebank and is much better than my pictures suggest..

This extremely rare sideboard of Pollard oak would sell in any shop in excess of $12,000 and represents excellent value that will only appreciate with time. This piece as any dealer would tell you is a wonderful investment. How often do you see pieces like this!
