SWISS MUSIC BOX WITH CYLINDER PLAYING EIGHT AIRS

IN (I THINK) ROSEWOOD CASE WITH SATINWOOD INLAY PLUS STRINGING ON THE FRONT AND TOP OF BOX

 

CIRCA 1890'S

 

 IN ORIGINAL CONDITION!!!

IN WORKING CONDITION BUT NEEDS TO BE RESTORED

ON THE COMB THERE ARE 3 TEETH MISSING OTHER THAN THAT, THE REST OF THE MUSIC BOX  LOOKS TO BE ALL THERE.  THE GLASS IS INTACT.  THE LID IS SLIGHTLY BENT.  THE LOCK/CATCH IS THERE BUT NOT WORKING.  on the back of the box where the hinges are, there are a couple of small pieces of wood missing 

SOME OF THE SONGS ARE:-  god save the queen, home sweet home, god bless the Prince of wales, the harmonious clocksmith, don giovanni, etc

measurements are approx 50.5cm l x 13.5cm h x 21cm w

not often you see one of these come up on ebay!!!
