Switzerland,1939, Scott Catalog Nos.247-9 (French version),C4a,C12a (if grilled gum) on registered airmail cover sent from Zuerich to Hartford, CT, airmail cancel. Swissair 'Europa Flight South/, Swiss National Exhibition h/s (gray) and separate National Exhibition Pavillion h/s in black. Open at gum-toned flap, and fully backstamped. Card stiffner has caused edge creases, as shown, otherwise very attractive and fine, with well-placed, sound stamps, clean strikes, and no faults.
