This is a Shand built 11' Sandpiper sailing dinghy. This is a single sail self draining Fiberglass Dinghy.  It is in good condition but has scratches and wear marks and a couple of small drilled holes where fittings once were that are taped over to seal the compartment. The boat is ready to sail and light weight. It is a lively and smart sailing boat which is quite fast for its Sail area. It is not a beginners boat as it is quite narrow under the mast which means it is a bit unstable for an absolute begginer, Having said that it is rewarding to sail if you have experience and know what your doing. Ideally would suit a confident Teenager with some experience.

Please note 1. This boat is not a large volume hull, and would suit a light skipper. The maximum weight of the person sailing it would be around 75 Kgs or it would sit a bit low in the water.

Boat can be picked up in Melbourne (Armadale) or Bendigo
