For the rider who expects DH perfection; this frame is it. Awesome technology meeting true handcrafted USA skill, all from a brand with great history and experience. This is the frame design that has not only won the Current World title but previous World Cup races and an overall World Cup title. This is the only frame that Santa Cruz still makes by hand in the States.

I am regrettably selling this bike due to other commitments. The bike has been used lightly on only four occasions. It is practically brand new and would be perfect for anyone whom was considering buying a new SC V10 or is looking at a new ‘cheap’ DH rig else where with a standard/basic frame. The frame is so close to new that Neezy (the Australian import of SC) has given me permission (in written email) to past onto the purchaser of this bicycle, the balance of the original two year factory warranty on the frame. Warranty balance would take it up to 02/07/2011! So no worries or risk! The warranty does not include the components. Of course the warranty is subject to standard SC warranty guidelines and has nothing to do with myself. Great piece of mind for you new purchase though that you can not get anywhere else!

If you want a to read more than a truckload of praise for this frame and suspension design, do some simple searches on the Web and check them out for yourself. www.mtbr.com is a good one. Also check out the SC Web site, it is full of heaps of great facts on the VPP design and how simple it is to maintain etc.. The frame version on this bike is the latest incarnation (sometimes refereed to as a ‘Gen 3’,V10.3 or even a V13) and is the same one that is continuing throughout 2010 model year.

Here is SC’s V10 link - http://santacruzbicycles.com/v10/

I am 6ft/183cm and this Medium frame fit me very well. I did try a number of Larges prior to purchasing the frame and recommend the Medium to anyone around about, up or down from my height. Large in a V10 is very big!

The black colour way is fantastic, it is a powder coat finish and quite robust. Fresh stickers can be purchased anytime to give the frame a birthday. This is an absolutely stunning example of what is essential one of the top if not THE TOP DH rig available. Weight wise it is very good and as you can see from this particular bicycle’s specs, if you want to, you could defiantly make it much lighter by swapping out some components. AND with your change from buying this over just a new frame, you could!

The bike has been ridden a few times, like I mentioned, so there are some very minor ‘used aspects’ of the bike, nothing that you would not expect from any ‘barely used second hand’ DH bike. Be rest assured this frame is in near new condition and has been taken care of very well. The ‘marks’ etc. are basically restricted to - basic scuffs/marks on a number of components (cranks, bars, chain tensioner etc.) of the bike, the fork’s lowers (primarily due to their age and former use) have paint coming away; stiction for the initial segment of the travel and not perfect alignment, minor scuffs on the frame’s down tube, minor marks on the frame’s top tube near the front which are from transporting up the hill, the rims are quite true but have some minor dents and marks, pedals have scratches and a couple of bent pins, the derailleur has some scratches, used tubes, seat has small tears on the side from leaning on walls and the front rotor has a scratch on it but does not affect braking. THAT IS IT!! So…nothing serious, you would still swear it was a brand new frame and in excellent condition as a complete bike – I am being ultra picky here to be completely up front so you do not get any surprises. Most of the marks on the frame are pretty much all from transporting up the hill, but I always did my best to ensure it had minimal contact with other bikes on the three occasions I used a vehicle’s help. Another point is I have taken excellent care of the RHS chain stay – so no frame gouges from the chain which you will find on most other second hand DH rigs, especially poorly cared for V10s.

I would like to mention I am not an aggressive or jumping kind of rider. During the period I rode the bicycle, I basically was getting use to it and rode it quiet timidly. So the frame has not been abused with massive jumping sessions etc.. Nor has anyone else ridden it. I would like to mention the frame is unbelieve to ride and really does improve your riding and confidence. The second run I ever used it at the track I generally ride, I dumped 20 seconds off my fastest PB time on my older bike, even with these forks on it!

Feel free to come and view the bike in person if you wish, it can be viewed around the Lawnton area which is located on the out skirts of the Brisbane.

GEOMETRY - http://santacruzbicycles.com/v10/index.php?geometry=1

The bike is to be sold complete. No parts will be sold individually.

Although I have listed local pick up only. We can work it out anyway you want to. Postage of bikes is generally done through a courier service like Pack & Send and the bike would arrive professionally boxed. $90 was a quote I received for metro areas of cities on the lower East Coast of Australia and may vary at time of delivery (cheaper or dearer). We can easily work it out once I know where it is going. It may cost more for other interstate areas if you need it posted. I will only send the bicycle once the correct amount of postage has been paid. Insurance will be extra as well. Buyer takes full responsibility for the choice of having insurance or not and the insurance cover it self, it is not included in the price nor offered, I will arrange for it with the postage if you want it and you have paid for it. Feel free to organise the postage yourself if you have a different/alternative way you would prefer, I am very very easy with postage. We could also just organise a pick up by your self from me locally like I mentioned, so postage would be fee free! No returns, not that you would – it is in awesome condition! This bicycle is listed elsewhere as well. To secure it for yourself, make a bid and I will pull the other external advertisements immediately.

Winning buyer is expected to make contact with me within 48 hours please. Payment is expected within 5 days. I will organise delivery as soon as payment is cleared by PayPal in my PayPal account or received/cleared in my bank account.

Feel free to post any questions you may have and I will endeavour to answer them ASAP. If you have a concern email me and I will get you some more pics of what you want to see. Check out other comments from my sales, everyone has been very happy with their purchases including other bicycle buyers!

Thanks. Remember these frames are $5500 by them selves. This has been hardly ridden and is ready to ride, save some cash and get yourself a dream rig.
