Sanyo Betamax Beta VCR Hi-Fi Recorder Model 7200

Sanyo Beta hi-fi betamax VCR, player and recorder.  Stereo Sound, 80dB dynamic range.  Date stamp: 10/12/1984.  Model No. VCR 7200.  Serial No: 34172002

Missing cover on far right of front display.  Evidently, my cousin left it stacked on another machine that was too hot because the plastic on the bottom right of the machine (opposite of tape-insertion side) looks slightly melted (Lesson learned: give your older electronics plenty of breathing room!)

Machine turns on (you can see the time display) and will take a beta tape, but it’ll try to eat the tape when you hit play.  I don’t have the skill or inclination to fix it (sold “as is”), but I was hoping someone out there did.

Get it, fix it, and finally watch C.H.U.D. again!
