A wonderful new hand painted dark elf to add to your collection. Bilara carries a globed staff in one hand and crystal ball in the other as she sits side saddle on a gorgeous grey unicorn.

An elf is a creature of Germanic paganism which still survives in northern European folklore. The elves were originally a race of minor nature and fertility gods, who are often pictured as youthful-seeming men and women of great beauty living in forests and underground places, or in wells and springs. They have been portrayed to be long-lived or immortal and as beings of magical powers. Following J. R. R. Tolkien's successful The Lord of the Rings—in which a wise, angelic people named Elves have a significant role—elves became staple characters of modern fantasy (see Elves in fantasy fiction and games).

Elf can be pluralised as both elves and elfs. Something associated with elves or the qualities of elves is described by the adjectives elven, elvish, elfin or elfish. According to a convention of modern fantasy, the 'v' in elven or elvish refers to human-sized elves (who correspond more closely to those of the old Germanic paganism), whereas the f in elfin or elfish refers to tiny-sized elfs (who correspond more closely to the folklore of the Renaissance and Romantic Eras).

Postage costs quoted for this listing are for postage within Australia only. For International postage please contact us for a quote.

We take care in wrapping and protecting all our items so that they arrive at your post box in their original sold condition however, we do strongly recommend using registered post for all items. We will not be held liable and do not offer any refunds for any item that was damaged by Australia Post during transport. For an extra $2.80, you will receive $100 insurance and the ability to track items that may otherwise have been lost or damaged by Australia Post. Items will be shipped within 3 business days of funds clearing.

Refund Policy

All items sold by DoubleK Online are new and unopened unless otherwise stated. We rely on the manufacturers representation that the item operates as described and without fault. We do recognise however that from time to time an item may not function properly and in these circumstances a refund in the form of Merchandise Credit will be given. A Merchandise Credit refund (less the cost of postage and handling fees charged on the sale) will be given for any product that proves to be faulty or is not operating as represented. If a returned item proves to be non-faulty and can be resealed, a 50% handling fee will be charged before the Merchandise Credit refund is given. If the item's original packaging is damaged beyond repair or cannot be reused and the item proves to be non-faulty, a refund will not be given. Faulty merchandise must be returned within 7 days of receipt of original delivery and include all original materials. The date of mailing the returned item will be verified for timing. The buyer is responsible for all return postage costs. We will pay the cost of postage of the replacement item up to a postage cost value not exceeding the cost of the original postage.
