What do I need to be able to use the Seben high-end digiscoping adapter?

You need a digital camera, camera or video camera with a ¼“-threaded tripod connection. Furthermore you need a scope or binoculars with a threaded connection for tripods and a preferably sturdy tripod.

Is assembly complicated?

Quite the opposite, assembly is truly simple. The Seben high-end digiscoping adapter fits onto your tripod head. Your scope is then fixed onto the Seben high-end digiscoping adapter. The arm section that supports the camera can be positioned and locked horizontally for straight spotting scopes, or at 45 degrees for angled scopes.

Can I use it with all kind of scopes, meaning straight spotting scopes and 45 degrees angled spotting scopes?

Yes, you can use it with either one.

What kind of binoculars or scope can I use with the Seben high-end digiscoping adapter?

Your binoculars or scope has to be outfitted with a threaded connection for a tripod-adapter. With the tripod-adapter the binoculars or scope can then be mounted onto the Seben high-end digiscoping adapter.

With everything set up, can I still make observations?

Yes, the arm can swing away to either side of the eyepiece to allow conventional viewing through the scope. When you have spotted a subject to photograph, you just swing the arm with camera on top back to take the shot. That makes it genuinely quick to operate!

Which fine adjustment possibilities exist?

The camera arm can be moved in two axels. Furthermore the camera can be lowered by 90 degree. Also the scope or binoculars can be moved back and forth horizontally.

Is the adapter outfitted with a quick release plate?

Yes, the Seben high-end digiscoping adapter is outfitted with 2 quick release plates. One is meant for the swift exchange of the tripod, and the other for the quick release of the camera.
