| Once you pay for your item it will be packed for shipping. The method of shipping depends on the size of your purchase. Most things are crated or boxed by our PROFESSIONAL SHIPPER. As a rule, you will receive an email from us or from iship.com with a tracking number. Small items are sent via USPS Priority Mail and should arrive in a few days. Medium size pieces (small pieces of furniture, etc.) are shipped by UPS; these items are generally custom boxed and typically arrive within a few days to a week. Large pieces of furniture are custom crated and shipped by our trucker, Arrow Express. Once the trucker picks up your item from us, it normally takes two to three weeks to arrive. However, many things can impact the time of a truck shipment so it can take as long as eight weeks, depending on your location.
About Shipping Costs: We are working very hard to keep shipping costs down but both USPS and UPS have raised their rates and the price of gas has skyrocketed, so truckers are all charging surcharges. We do not use Greyhound or any of the cut-rate shippers. We always combine shipping to discount multiple item purchases.
About LOCAL (NY tri-state area) shipments: We always welcome pick ups and never charge for this service. Also, we have a local delivery service that can deliver up to five items for the same price, anywhere within the NY tri-state area. If you are local, please ask for a price quote for this very affordable service. |
