Sigma 50mm f2.8 EX DG Macro Lens for Canon EF EOS SLR

Description

The Sigma 50mm EX DG Macro is a member of Sigma's high-quality EX series of lenses with a bright f2.8 maximum aperture that is capable of true 1:1 macro photography. The DG in the title means that is optimised for digital cameras and produces a full sized image circle, so it can be used on the Canon EOS 1D and 5D series of Digital SLRs. It is also compatible with the smaller APS-C sized sensor EOS models such as the 300-500D, 10-50D, 1000D and 7D, on which it has an equivalent focal length of 80mm. This lens has a unique lens hood with an external 72mm thread that can be used for mounting filters and lens caps. The hood mounts onto the standard 55mm thread on the lens itself.

Condition

This lens is in superb condition. The glass is clear and the body looks great. The two filters provided are high quality Sigma EX and Kenko Pro1 (the same as Hoya Pro1, I believe) items.
