Signed 1940 Frost & Reed French Print Stunning Frame

 Dimensions:  81cm x 71cm.  Well, yes, here it finally is. I think every second client who has come to pick up over the past two years has asked me if I would sell this print. So here it finally is ~ sadly for me.  This is a stunning early French work, printed under license in 1940 by Frost & Reed who have been dealers in fine art for around 200 years, intially in Bristol, then London and for the last 80 odd years around the globe. Beautifully carded and frames more recently, there is some gentle foxing to the print which shows it's true age, and is not any way shape or form offensive, nor does it detract from this wonderful print, depicting a courting couple of most likely Louis XIV era, with cupid peering at them from behind.  Really, pictures speak for themselves, but those who have seen it 'in the flesh' will know it's even more glorious than my camera can show . Under normal circumstances viewing is available on all my items, however as I'm away for the next week or so, I apologise that on this occasion only, I can't offer viewing on this week's items. Over the next few weeks, I will be selling quite a few of my own pieces, to help fund this trip!  Pick up is available after November 11.
