SILVER & DOUBLE GLASS

Tray

36cm overall diameter, centre is 27cm diameter. Stands 3.5cm high on 3 ball feet.

Stamped under rim – B EP WF 5006

It has two circles of glass to enclose lace, photographs etc. (picture with doiley taken to show what it probably originally was similar to).

The edges of the glass have many tiny frits which are not seen when silver is in place.

The ball feet don’t screw on as firmly as they should, each has a thin plate to hold the glass, and would benefit from some treatment.

Be aware that postage rates are for Australia only, and are based on real costs - most of our items are very fragile and are packed to ensure safe arrival, this is time consuming and incurs expense. We mostly use registered post to cover any loss, but it does still leave us out of pocket if we need to claim as Australia Post does not cover 'peripheral' costs such as Ebay fees or special packing expenses. Only one registered post article has disappeared recently - a 2.5kg parcel in an expandable bag (not likely to slip into a crevice unnoticed!) but we were still nearly $9.00 out of pocket
