Treadle Sewing Machine
Large Roses Decal

Singer commenced manufacture of the Model 27
around 1884 making this
one of the very first of this model.
They continued making these
until the 1950's.
The machine has the design
known as the Large Roses
and she was manufactured in 1892
Her Serial number is 10343065
This machine has the long shuttle
known as a 'Bullet'
and is referred to as a Vibrating Shuttle machine
The Decals are in very good condition
for the age of the machine.
There is wear to the front of the bed and
minor paint chipping and edge loss.
The Centre bed decal is in very good condition.
She comes complete with
original Singer Parts in the Singer Tin
*a copy of an instruction Manual.
There is also the Key to lock the dome.
All the plated parts
are clean and rustfree.
All the timberwork and the veneer
are in extremely good condition.
The top has a beautiful grain to the veneer
and nothing has been replaced
This Drawer Frame is the Open-Style.
All drawers have the original
Singer brass handles
which have been polished.
It is extremely difficult to find a complete
set as most machine drawers
seem to be missing some of these.
There is the nice Honeycomb Pattern on
the wooden dome.
The Timber has been cleaned
reshellaced and polished
The Cast Iron Frame has been restored
and the goldwork reapplied.
As with all our machines ,
she not only looks good she sews
Wonderfully as well.
The machine has been serviced
and Her Belt replaced.
The Patchwork Block with machine details
was made on this machine.
She takes a standard size needle.
She would make a lovely display piece
and a great addition to any collection.
