Sleek "Danish Style" Chiswell Dining Table that just looks smooth & sexy from any angle. Chiswell became a household name and represented top quality and top priced furniture. Even today, some of the children of that 60's generation, remember fondly Nan's or Pop's Chiswell furniture as treasured pieces and the wonderful times associated with them whether lounging around the Chiswell lounge suite or cutting the Turkey roast on the Chiswell dining table. No wonder that these pieces are getting harder to get as they are being handed down to the grandchildren who are just re-discovering the timeless designs of 60's "Danish Era". These tables are top vintage items and would cost a small fortune today if you had it made. These tables were the "Classics" of the Danish Era of the 60's.
The table is "solid as" and as good as the day they were manufactured.
Overall, the table is about 7.8/10 and in very good vintage condition though there are a number of minor scratches & bruises associated with 40+ years of usage. This table can easily accommodate 4 chairs and possibly 6. Height -730 mm, width - 1200mm, length - 1720mm (extended).
