A native of the subtropical forests of coastal New South Wales and South East Queensland, this is a clumping plant.

With linear, drooping leaves and small purple or violet flowers in long pannicles in late spring. The fruits are glossy black berries. But this plants greatest attribute is that it is easily grown.

Planted outside in a protected position, this plant can reach a height of 2 to 5m (7 to 17 ft) with a spread of 1 to 3m (7 to 17ft) USDA Zones 10 - 12.

Offered is a packet of 25 seeds and Grownotes to assist you to cultivate this easily grown plant.
