This charging regulator is suitable for charging 12V lead-acid batteries.

It is able to use power from a number of sources including: a 12V solar panel, or a filtered DC supply from 13.8V to 15V.

Charging current and voltage are automatic - so it is ideal for charging batteries used for caravans, weekend houses and alarm systems ...

This solid state charge controller is suitable for both lead-acid batteries and uses Pulse Width Modulation for optimal charging.

The pulsed current charging system (Pulse Width Modulation) allows your batteries to safely accept up to 15% more storable energy than typical charging methods.

The module is compatible with all types of solar arrays.

It also includes reverse-current protection for connection to solar cells - this is so that the battery won’t discharge into an inactive solar cell during night. Reverse current flowing through the solar array is automatically blocked in this unit which removes the requirement for a separate blocking diode.

Ideal for charging and maintaining (Float/Absorption) 12V batteries from solar panels up to 20-24 watts.
