Such a beautiful set this. Hallmarked JD&S for James Dixon and Sons, the silver is in lovely condition. There are no visible marks on the (bone? horn?) handles and the box is in good condition, retaining all its lining and eighty percent of the fabric on the bottom. There is a lock but no key. The hinges are not complete and will been either replacing or repair.

Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1901.
