Sony DCR-TRV900 Digital Video Camera with Accessories Product Description The Sony DCR-TRV900 is a high-end consumer MiniDV 3CCD camcorder of the DCR line of Sony. It had an MSRP value of $2699 when it was released in September 1998. It was sold until 2002, and has demonstrated a lasting value rare in electronics, remaining popular
with both hobbyists and professionals, for its compact size and good
performance. The Sony DCR-TRV900 can handle up to eight hours recording. The camcorder has three 1/4 inch CCDs that provides high quality video image. The TRV900 model has a 3.5-inch Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and a color viewfinder. The 12X Optical Zoom lets you move in or pull back for wide shots, while the Precision 48X Digital Zoom uses a Hyper-Precision CCD to maintain superior image detail. There's an Optical Super SteadyShot Image Stabilization System, a Memory Mode for Still Image Capture and even picture effects to help you get the look you want. One feature in particular that makes the TRV900 an exceptional camcorder is its focus ring. Though often overlooked, this feature allows you to focus using the ring around the lens, which offers great focusing control. The camcorder includes a FireWire port that transfers video from camcorder to computer. You'll never run out of ways to use this Sony. Item Condition The item listed works perfectly. There is some superficial wear and tear, e.g. light scratches and scuffs on the camera body, and the seams of the hand strap and camera bag are worn. They make models for many cameras; the DXA-4S is listed specifically for the TRV900. Input connectors are dual female XLR, balanced; levels are switchable between MIC and LINE settings, and there's a ten-step level adjustment on each channel. It goes for about $200.
