This handycam is in perfect working order and comes with everything you need to get going along with a spare battery, bag, 5 Digital tapes etc.
 
The casing has minor scratches, no scratches and there are no scratches on the screen. It comes with the following:
 
-                      Camera Case – this has hardly been used , maybe 3 times and was just stored in the cupboard.
-                      Memory Card – in perfect working order, holds about 50 photo’s as is only 8mb and the resolution on the photo mode is perfect for emailing and printing at normal size – not good for enlarging though, to show you the quality I have pasted a photo of our son when born to show you the type of quality.

-                      Camera to Audio/Visual rca cords, simply plug it in and play on your computer or on your tv, DVD recorder with ease. The easiest way I found to copy the digitial tapes to DVD was to play the camera through a DVD Recorder and copy straight to DISC, very simple.   You can easily purchase a cord to transfer straight from the camera into a computer via USB. \
-                      Charger.
-                      Remote control, very handy for tripod use .
-                      Standard Battery and spare battery. The standard battery is great for everyday recording and last’s up to a couple of hours if constantly on. The spare battery was purchased for over $200.00 when we went overseas and that battery is absolutely fantastic – I record about 3 hours worth of footage every 2-3 months and the battery still has ample life in it. 
-                      I am not one to use instructions hence, I have lost the manual as I never used it as the instructions are on screen and are very easy. The screen however is easy to navigate and the manual for this camera can be found and printed if required from numerous websites such as http://www.fixya.com/support/p398683-sony_handycam_dcr_trv18e_mini_dv_digital/manual-15574

All in all this is a great little camera that has given us no headaches and is very, very simple to use. It is easy to change to black and white, sepia etc for those special occasions and the quality of the footage being recorded is typical Sony quality. And is very sharp! Please read our feedback, we do no make false claims.

I have charged up the large battery and can load it with one of the new tapes for the succesful bidder, it is then ready to go for the new user!
