Sony SL-10 Betamax Movie Player Recorder +8 Tapes Lot

Here is a super clean, vintage Sony SL-10 Betamax movie player/recorder and 8 movies... The unit is in good condition and looks great.. We plugged the unit in and were able to set clock and timer, the unit powers up, but we could not figure out how to get the unit to take a tape in to play.. We do not have directions nor do we have the wired remote that came with tis originally.. So we can guarantee the player powers up,but no idea how it plays a tape.. We were told by previous owner that it worked fine the last time they used it years ago, but we did not see it then so we can't say one way or the other.. The player comes with 8 cool movies, you get.. Raiders of the lost Ark, Star Trek 3, The karate kid, Beverly Hills Cop, The Baltimore Bullet, Back to the Future, Hot Pursuit, Lifeforce, Gremlins(missing sleeve), and Ishtar, we were told that these movies all played fine, but since we could not get the player to cooperate, you get this lot as-is....
