It is designed as a high end video editing laptop. The laptop runs a full P4 chip at full power and is an excellent desktop replacement. The screen is a special XGA TFT that gives incredible depth and clarity.  In my opinion it is only now equaled by the high end Toshiba screens. What this laptop does is handle graphics incredibly well, it has a 64mb graphics accelerator that gives it some great power. I have 1gb of ram on it and that is more than plenty for the XP Pro that is installed. 

The computer comes with original recovery disks that includes XP Pro

The hard drive has been wiped and a fresh copy of the XP Pro system  and all software/drivers have been reinstalled.
