Sony Z1 HDV Video Camera (PAL)

Up for sale is this most underestimated camera. My Sony Z1 (PAL). In the right hands this is one of the best small cameras on the market. This camera has been used for hi-end TVCs. music videos, Tv shows, 2 x feature films  (2nd unit camera) and most recently a documentary film (released world wide).

This camera is perfect for all sorts of video work. I have seen what the Panasonic, JVC & Canon cameras can do, but none come close to the Z1 in this size range. The camera was always serviced, cleaned and well looked after. Some people may not be a fan of these cameras, but I have had professional DP's ask many times what some of my work was shot on, and none could believe it was on this Z1. Whilst, this may seem to be a point and shoot camera, when set correctly you will get truly outstanding results.

The camera is fitted with a UV filter. This enables you to get the best possible image, regardless of using the filter features built in on the camera. This automatically will give you the one up on your projects and enhances colours.

Comes with Petrol carry bag, charger, cables, 6 hour battery. I may have the remote somewhere (not promising), this was never used, has a Hoodman LCD protector (so you can see the LCD screen in the sun), Sony ECM-678 microphone.

I'm sad to see this camera go, however I'm going over sees and need to be shooting on a different camera. If you want to shoot the best you can to match hi end cameras, I'm happy to train you for a couple of hours.

As far as the camera specs go, please visit the sony website. Please note this is not the 24p version. I strongly suggest if you want the film look, to either leave it to the editors, or really know what you are doing. This camera has the cinelook setting, but is not recommended for use.
