Spinet Harpsichord

English Bentside spinet, copy after Stephen Keene. This is an unfinished project, the instrument is complete but the jacks (the small moving parts which pluck the strings) need to have their springs and plectra installed and be trimmed to correct length. The case is made from antique Cuban mahogany and the interior lined with kauri veneer. The soundboard is from solid spruce. The keys are ebony and solid bone. There is a turned pine stand. This is an instrument with can easily be finished by someone with some basic mechanical skills. I am moving and havent the time to complete or the space to store this instrument.
