Squier Precision Bass body by Fender.

Stamp in neck pocket looks like "00 - III", so possibly a March 2000 model?
Beautiful sunburst finish
Solid timber (not laminate or ply), most likely alder or basswood.
Body is in excellent condition with no dings or chips anywhere.
The neck pocket will take any neck with a Fender spec heel, be it original, licenced, aftermarket or custom-made.
The light-coloured marks on the body that you see in the photos are from the flash only.
Has some minor swirl marks and a couple of light surface scratches from normal use, but you would have to look really close to see any.
Also included is a loaded, fully wired white pickguard with Squire P Bass pickups, tone and volume pots, input  and mounting screws. Missing knobs.
Perfect for your project bass. All you need is a neck, bridge (takes standard P Bass style bridge) and strap pins and you have yourself a good P Bass guitar.
