"Stadt Leipzig" (Town of Leipzig) 10,000 Mark Loan Bond 

Description: You are bidding on one " Stadt Leipzig" (Town of Leipzig) 10,000 Mark Loan or Stock Bond. The bond is numbered 00495 and was issued July 26, 1922. The bonds intrust rate was 5% which was probably a great return back in those days. There is a red cancellation stamp in the upper right corner and the town seal watermark is embossed in the lower left corner. The signature below the embossed watermark appears to be hand signed. There is a separate sheet containing 17 interest redemption coupons; each contains an embossed city seal. The document displays normal wear and age discoloration along the edges. The certificate measures 13.375" long by 9.250 wide.
