Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Will this stainless steel gas heater be able to supply a house? Or is it too small?
A: Yes, this heater will easily be able to supply a house with hot water. It easily supplies my bathroom and various sinks.
  
Q: How is this unit powered? Is it via a 240v connection?
A: No, the ignition for this unit requires nothing more than 2 D sized batteries, which last forever (mine are going on 3 years now) the unit itself runs on LPG gas.
Q: Can this unit be mounted on the outside of my caravan as I don't have a lot of room inside?
A: Absolutely, to run it outside I just hang my heater from one of the window screw’s that I have backed out a bit and hook it up to the gas regulator.
Q: Regarding the flue that I am able to purchase with the water heater, do I need to plumb this outside or can I run it inside my caravan?
A: Yes, this is a very important point as gas water heaters make carbon monoxide and if you vent it inside this will give a build up of burnt gas this is why you need a flue, the flue will need to be vented outside, you could even vent it through a window or sunroof.
