This fine Steck Pianola (from the 1920s we think) plays very well, the mechanism, bellows and tubing were all reconditioned some years ago. Even the pitch shift and auto tracking controls still work. A few of the keys stick (ie: don't return) when playing the piano, but this an easy fix for a tinkerer. It has stayed pretty well in tune for its age - due to the steel internal frame. The cabinetry is in fair condition, there is fine cracking of the lacquer - probably due to being in a warm room for many years. (you may be able to see this in some of the photos)
There are more than 70 (boxed) Piano Rolls included. There are a few new ones, but most are old originals, all but a few in good condition.
It will be a shame to see it go, but we will be moving house next year and won't have the room anymore.
The winning bidder will need to arrange pick up and transport of the Pianola themselves, at no cost to the seller. Be warned it is extremely heavy!
Paypal or a cash payment on pick up is fine.
Thanks for looking - if you don't want to bid, then tell a friend about this great old pianola!
