The watchmaker can work precisely on cogwheels and clockworks. The jeweller identifies gems, examines precious stones and jewellery and gives expert advice about engravings, hallmarks and dies. Working on microelectronic components becomes possible and soldered points as well as hairline cracks on them become visible. Philatelists and coin collectors can proof the authenticity of their treasures and search for errors and varieties. But Seben's Incognita III is also ideal for dissecting plants and insects. Surface details and fine structures of various materials, like wood, metal and stone, can be analysed as well.
As you can see, Seben's Incognita III is useful for many applications. Furthermore it can be used in geology, forestry, archaeology, agriculture, biology and is appropriate for educational purposes in hospitals and schools.
The elaborate design of this precision instrument convinces even the most specialised user!
Seben's Incognita III features a robust high quality design and finish to an excellent standard. The combination of computer calculated high technology and sophisticated workmanship results in a first-class Stereo Microscope:
Seben's Incognita III
It allows the observation of three dimensional objects, thus increasing the field of application enormously! With a usual microscope you can merely observe slides, what needs quite some preparation. Of course you can also examine slides with Seben's Incognita III , but you can observe virtually any three dimensional object that happens to rise your interest as well.
You can choose between transmitted illumination through the frosted stage plate or incident illumination shining down onto the object. The first is used for t he observation of slides. The second is used for the observation of three dimensional objects. The head can be raised or lowered on post to accommodate various sized objects and the dual focusing knobs feature a rack and pinion mechanism. I deal microscopy conditions are thus guaranteed!
The enormous working distance of 7.6 cm (!) is a great advantage, because it permits viewing objects as tall as 60mm. Seben's Incognita III provides high resolution and good depth within a broad field of view. Its 45° inclined binocular head, which is rotatable 360°, guarantees an easy observation. Rubber eyeguards provide further comfort.
The interpupillary distance is adjustable 56mm to 76mm . Diopter adjustment (±5) for eyeglass wearers is also possible.
Seben's Incognita III is fitted with a dimmer and t he illumination (12V/10W) is already included! Versatile illumination system offers 1) incident (top) lighting 2) transmitted (bottom) lighting 3) both at the same time.
The two 10X eyepieces used in combination with the achromatic turret 2X and 4X objective provide either a 20X or 40X magnification of the observed subject.
The two 20X eyepieces used in combination with the achromatic turret 2X and 4X objective provide either a 40X or 80X magnification of the observed subject.
