This is a lovely sterling silver topped dresser jar or hair receiver.  The top is plain with a well worn monogram.  It is marked sterling made in Canada 925 R with a lion.  The jar is brilliant cut crystal with a flower design.  It is quite elegant!  There are a couple of flea bite chips on the high points of the crystal and a couple of teeny dings in the silver.  This piece measures 3 1/2" across and 3" tall.
