Vintage white gold plate sterling silver and pearl earrings

    

 

This pretty pair is in very good condition.

The earrings have screw fittings and have a grape and vine design. The bunch of grapes is made from genuine cultured pearls and set in sterling silver. The back of the screws are marked sterling.

The sterling silver has been white gold plated to give a tarnish free finish.

 There is some wear to the gold plate on the outer ring exposing the silver beneath. This can be seen under a magnifying glass but is not noticed in general viewing. The pearls are full of lustre.

The screw fittings work well.

The earrings are 20mm x 17mm.

 

For North American users a handy guide is 25mm or 2.5cm is a little less than 1 inch, so 100mm or 10cm is just less than 4 inches.
