Stoneware Whiskey Jug - Mitchell Bros Heather Dew - "Greybeard"

General Description:
Great two-tone whisky jug from the Mitchell Bros titled "Heather Dew Whiskey" on the front stamp and "The Greybeard" on the rear. The impressed potter's mark on the base is "Kennedy". The front is a pictorial stamp portraying two men, wearing kilts and drinking whiskey. It's an interesting 'tear-drop' shape and smaller than the other Greybeard styles. There are remnants of cork in the jug.

Condition:
Good.
A very clean bottle with no chips or scratches. The body is in excellent condition and the transfer is very clear. The base is not as clean, and the potter's mark is imperfect. The handle is excellent and free from flaws. The lip has some wear and what appears to be a hairline around the rim, though this could be an area where the glaze has not properly settled.
No Crazing.
