$1.00 start, NO RESERVE!! Superb LARGE porcelain 'French Bulldog' figurine by the famous 'Lomonosov' porcelain company! This beautiful 'Frenchie' was made in the former USSR (now Russia) sometime between 1950 -1960 and differs from the later figurines by having a gold-trimmed base and different tonings. He is extremely realistic, showing amazing attention to detail and is beautifully designed in a lovely 'Frenchie' pose! Beautifully hand-painted, he is in superb condition for his age with absolutely no chips, damage or repairs! For accuracy, there are what appears to be a couple of slight 'rubs' to the paint at the side of his left front leg (he may have even come out the factory with this as it is hardly noticeable since it blends in with his other white markings) -see photos. Marked to the base with the red 'Lomonosov' factory mark, USSR, this quality piece would enhance any serious collection! (Any white marks / reflections are just camera glare :) A truly stunning piece, perfect for the collector or 'French Bulldog' enthusiast!.. Very beautiful!.. NO RESERVE!..
